HIV Prevention, Treatment
and Care Services

YouthRISE Nigeria pins the gap in HIV prevention, treatment, and care for people who use drugs (PWUD) and supports healthy lifestyles for people living with HIV (PLWHIV). We focus on improving access to HIV services via established mobile and stationary outlets (One-stop shop & Drop-in centre). The services we offer include HIV testing, a needle syringe program, ART enrollment, adherence counselling, partnership notification service, drug refills, STI screening and management, support groups, referrals, and other services. We have achieved 90% viral suppression and 87% retention rate via her HIV Program.

Harm Reduction and Drug
Treatment Services

YouthRISE Nigeria recognizes the need for a public health approach to drug-related harms such as the transmission of HIV and other blood-borne infections, and overdose among many others. Therefore, we provide harm-reduction interventions for people who use drugs. The organization equally engages in advocacy to address structural barriers to the implementation of comprehensive harm reduction in Nigeria and the West Africa sub-region.

Referrals and
Linkages

We have a robust referrals and linkage system that includes conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the health needs of individuals and determine the services that are most appropriate for them. Utilizing our robust partnership to provide referrals to a range of supporting services. Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community-based organizations to build partnerships and create a coordinated system of care. We believe that by working together, we can improve health outcomes and create more effective and accessible healthcare services.

Sexual and Reproductive
Health

YouthRISE Nigeria promotes the right to access comprehensive and high-quality sexual and reproductive health services. We recognize that sexual and reproductive health is a critical component of overall health and well-being, and we are committed to promoting healthy sexuality, preventing unintended pregnancies, and reducing the transmission of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV among people who use drugs, especially women. Our sexual and reproductive health interventions include providing access to contraception, STI testing and syndromic management, and providing education and support to promote healthy sexuality, including information about consent, sexual health, and relationships. We work to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their sexuality and make informed decisions about their sexual health.

Gender and Integrated
Services

Our gender-responsive program has ensured inclusiveness and bridged the health, social, and economic inequalities. we recognize that gender is a critical factor in health outcomes, and we are committed to promoting gender equity and addressing gender-based disparities in health. We provide gender-specific health services, Gender-based violence management, and integrated health services that improve health outcomes, reduce stigma, and increase efficiency.
